Thanks, rraine. Paris was wonderful. I probably won't write on my blog about my trip. It was interesting and the experience was hugely colored by the book I was reading at night. Have you heard of "the untethered soul" by Michael A. Singer? Wonderful book. I highly recommend it.
Kirk, it was overcast and dark when I visited the Eiffel Tower and the people all showed up dark in the photo. I changed the saturation setting on my computer when I published it because I loved the way it highlighted several people's stances juxtaposed with the Tower.
Wonderful to see you pop up- and I need a do-over for Paris. I was too young, too inexperienced- too many weeks into a whirlwind trip and I missed all the lovely things you've so artfully posted. So great Kass- truly wonderful.
Took a chance, here you are with Paris photos. Yes, it would be a treat for us if you wrote about it or whatever you are doing and thinking AND it is fine to see you here, to know you've been there (which I have not). xo
a variety of people around you, some in repair, or in their own happiness, anywhere.
ReplyDeleteParis is full of variety. Beautiful flowers and insects in your latest post.
Deletewhat a wonderful collection of joy, despair, and just there. will you write about your trip?

DeleteI lived in Paris for a while. They had good food but it wasn't a kind city.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the unkindness. I found the people helpful and friendly, but any large city has its coldness and huge difficulties.
DeleteI'm curious. Why is the Eiffel Tower in black-and-white?
