It's Snow Wonder!

  1. Good morning! Not gluggy and slow whatsoever. What beauty ~ so wintry, but light and clear unlike Las Vegas which resembles a city on the North Sea in January. Good to see your good photos!

  4. What beautiful pictures. Number 10 is like from another planet.

Thanks for sending others to my blog.

I so appreciate your encouragement as I am going through some difficult times, and I'm not talking about my eyes.

You are a very special person.

  5. So much variety in your blog. The slide show is another spectacular hit. I don't think there's anything prettier than sun reflecting off the pristine snow like diamonds. xoxo

  7. Such wonderful photos here, Kass. I love slide shows and particularly the picture here in which we can see the shadows of the two onlookers, including she who holds the camera.

'A picture paints a thousand words', that's the saying isn't it. Wonderful pictures wonderful words.

  8. Christella - Thanks for your comment. #10 is a display at the convention center down the road from my cabin. The town of Midway has several 'hot pots' occuring naturally and Zermatt, the convention center, pipes the water up in several tubes at different levels and lets it dribble and freeze all winter, so the display is always changing and growing. I think it looks like Superman's Fortress of Solitude (from the first movie).

Marie - The sparkling snow is magic, isn't it?

standing - If you'll read the answer to Christella (also from Vegas) - I explain the eruption. Thanks for your kind words.

Elisabeth - Yes, that is my shadow on the left. My friend and I were snowshoeing for hours on a lovely sunny day. Thanks for appreciating. The link for the slideshow came from this wonderful artist's blog: click on

  9. Great pics dear Kass. You captured the magic of the white, the silence of the browns and the majestic of life in winter.
I'm yet to see and touch snow, I can't die without doing so.. that is something I must do, so I must face my dislike of cold weather and plan a holiday trip to a winter place.
