Happy Blogiversary to Me

It's My First Blogiversary!

How nice you stopped by to join me in celebrating my first
BLOGIVERSARY. It’s been
tremendous fun, and I’ve enjoyed meeting so many wonderful, interesting bloggers and
readers that became friends in the process. I especially want to thank those bloggers
who dropped by to say hello in my early days, followed along and encouraged me.
These were my first posts:

Solitude

No, mine wasn't very well thought out either when I started it. Next month will be three years for me. I bet you never thought you'd last more than a couple of months. It just goes to show you. And you know what, you'll blink twice and it'll be your second anniversary and you'll wonder where all the time went.

I enjoy how we grow with our blog, both a exercise of mind and spirit.I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but grew with support of others. Each of us have something really special to share, unfortunately many keep it to theirselves.Happy blogging!

Happy anniversary, Kass. Sometimes it's best to get by with a quote, if it sums up what you like to say. I like the way you apply the Luke quote to what I assume is is a personal situation.

Kass said...

STANDING - Oh yes, she says enthusiastically. I'm more than happy for the acquaintance!

Kass said...

JIM - I could be wrong, but I think I'm smarter for having read your blog.

Kass said...

PARSNIP - Thanks so much. I enjoy your spunk.

Kass said...

OUTonTHEprairie - It's true, I have grown and have this weird medium to thank for it (along with a lot of wonderful people).

Kass said...

KIRK - Yes, quotes are great, especially when you start out blogging with a distinct loss of words. You're right, the personal situation fit the quote, especially the possession part. It rhythms with obsession, doesn't it?

Happy Blogday! I'm so glad you are finding your voice and your cyber-tribe, XXX

Kass said...

BADGER - I found your blog by clicking on "photography" as one of my interests in my profile, but yes, I'm glad we found each others' blogs.

Kass said...

ERYL - Cyber-tribe. That's cool. Thanks.

Time flies when you're having fun!

I'm most pleased to have made your acquaintance. Now, make a wish and blow out the candle!

HELEN - I see your comment in email, but not here. Blogger is having trouble again.

Kass said...

JUNE - I see your comment in email, but not here. I guess Blogger is having trouble again.

Kass said...

TAG - Yes, some of my best bloggies are a direct result of Limes. Thanks for the kind words.

Kass said...

JONAS - Likewise.

Kass said...

HELEN, JUNE and GABI - Oops, it's me, not Blogger. Apparently, you clicked on the comment button from the year-old post and left your comments there. It's amazing how those linky things work.

POETIC - Thanks. Ditto.

NUMINOSITY - Yes, it was Candace. She's quite the social mediator. I look forward to having her here soon.

Happy blog birthday, Kass. I had checked my early postings today, discovering that I am almost at 2 years. To keep showing up, to learn from the examples of good work we find, to know beyond doubt that we can grow and get better at what we are trying to do...I am happy to have met you here, happy for your milestone and all the good wishes you've received.

Jan said...

Congrats, Kass. Best wishes for many more years successfully spent entertaining the rest of us.

Happy blogiversary to you, Kass!

I seem to have missed a lot of blogging lately - apologies. Always playing catchup. My marriage is being an attention seeker, or maybe it's my husband...anyhow...if it were a dog I'm sure we'd have taken it to the vet's for that injection of final sleep by now.

Alanna Klapp said...

Hi Kass! Happy Blogiversary! For some reason I thought you'd been blogging longer. I like your blog's new look, too. I'm glad to have met you this year! You are such an inspiring, supportive, and kind person, and I love your thought-provoking posts. I liked the solitude quote, too.

Vicky said...

I'm late to the party and can share with you my own blog was not started with well thought out intentions... but look how we've evolved. Happy Blogiversary... so glad to have your poetic voice as part of my own blogging experience... heres to many more years to come...

Kass said...

MARYLINN - Time goes fast when you're connecting with stimulating, like-minded people. Thanks for those kind words.

Kass said...

JAN - Glad you've been entertained. Because you're not with blogspot and I can't get automated updates on when you've posted, I sometimes forget to check your blog, but when I do, I'm never disappointed.

Kass said...

RACHEL - That's a pretty gutsy, revealing analogy you've shared about your marriage. Dare you blog about it? Or is it not the stuff you'd like to widely splatter about the net like I do?

Kass said...

ALANNA - I'm glad to have met you too. Sorry again about Lebron.

VICKY - Yes, it is an evolution and a wonderful sharing arena.

Marcia said...

My favorite thing about your blog is that you respond to your commenters. No other bloger I read does that. Yours is a nice two-way street.

Jennifer Robin said...

A whole year already? Yay! Love the picture you chose to commemorate the occasion!

Kass said...

MARCIA - Boy, I'd better respond to that comment now. I have learned a lot from the other blogs I frequent. One of my favorite blogs is Sixth in Line (she was the sixth in her family). You can see it on my sidebar. The commenters there really get a discussion going with her (Elisabeth).

JENNIFER - Glad you like the change.

Rachel Fenton said...

Oh Kass, I'm being cagey about revealing anything on my blog which might upset my kids one day so everything is coded with me - not so hard to "get" as such, it's there, but it could be anything if you read it another way.

How are you, anyway?

S. Etole said...

I've come late to the party but it's still a great one ... what a gift you have given us in the words you've shared.

{you and your mom have been on my mind}

Krista said...

Happy Blogiversary! Sorry I'm so late to the party. *hugs* Hope all is well!

Mary Anne said...

Congrats, kiddoe...this blog is so amazingly YOU! Keep 'knocking and kneading', kay?

Kass said...

SUSAN - Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you're feeling better.

KRISTA - You're never late to this party. It's on-going. Thanks for coming.

MARY ANNE - Great to see you here. I keep trying to look at your latest post, but it looks like it's been removed. Hope to see it soon.
